Athene String Quartet
Athene String Quartet is an experienced, professional string quartet which regularly plays at weddings, parties and corporate functions in the West Country.
Based in Bristol, the quartet plays in prestigious venues across the South West, including Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Devon and South Wales.
In demand for weddings and corporate events, the Athene String Quartet also plays for garden parties, dinner parties, and other special occasions.
The Athene String Quartet consists of widely known, experienced professional musicians from the Bristol Area. Between them they have played with a variety of orchestras: the English Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Hallé, Orchestra West, Welsh Sinfonia and the Philharmonia of Bristol. They are regularly in demand as session musicians for radio and television, as well as backing musicians for pop bands.
As teachers, they have brought music to thousands of young people in the West Country.
